"Vineyard Complementary is the best! I've gone for physical therapy several times over the past twenty years, and they always get me feeling better and stronger. "I felt very well taken care of by the staff at Complementary Medicine. They worked as a team to help me with my problem. I was thoroughly evaluated, set up with a program, and then did Acupuncture to help manage the pain. I was not a believer of Acupuncture until Susan worked with me. I would highly recommend their highly professional staff."

"I was a couch potato with a sore hip after my hip replacement. My PCP wanted me to lose weight and exercise. My excuse was that my hip hurt attempting to walk and I got winded. I brought my PT prescription to Vineyard Complementary Medicine and performed an online evaluation of my condition and had exercises prescribed. I was skeptical of telehealth but it all worked out. Susan my PT and Susie my PTA gradually worked me up to riding a stationary bike three times a week. All exercises were tailored to equipment I had at home and an exercise program by EverEx . The EverEx program was easy to use and kept me on track. Will definitely use Vineyard Complementary Medicine again."

"At an intense time of need, with a torn miniscus and a hairline-fractured femur, Vineyard Complementary Medicine supported me with twice weekly PT by Elizabeth, who was fantastic, and an efficient staff. Elizabeth challenged me and kept me going, encouraging me to exercise on my own, which I did. I arrived to her at about 7% of my normal abilities and left at about 95%. I'm doing great and will keep it up. Thanks much!"

"I have had a couple of athletic injuries in the past year that required physical therapy. I chose VCM after speaking with multiple past/present patients. The physical therapists I worked with were outstanding. From confirming my doctor’s diagnosis to working me during PT visits to providing escalating sets of home exercises, the professionalism was top notch. Scheduling visits was easy. "I had prenatal acupuncture done during my nine months of pregnancy here and Ty was amazing. Highly recommend him! It’s amazing that VCM took my insurance for acupuncture treatments, such a bonus! I always left my sessions feeling completely blissed out and relaxed beyond belief, not to mention I had a super easy pregnancy and I credit in large part my acu treatments at VCM. "I can't say enough good things about VCM. Having received acupuncture treatment on an off for 20+ years, I am a fan. VCM (Susan) takes it to a different level and experience. Her combination of Physical Therapy and Acupuncture enable to her to not only make an extremely insightful and detailed diagnosis, she integrates multiple modalities of treatment to bring the greatest relief possible. She treats the "whole" you not just a part that is experiencing pain. This is important because of how deeply intertwined our bodies and pain are. What is equally impressive is that I have no found acupuncture to be able to treat other related issues than just musculoskeletal pain. It has been profound. You will never feel rushed, you will never feel like you are being moved through the system. Susan and staff are connected to your overall well being."

"Vineyard Complementary is great. It gets very busy so it can take "a minute" to get an initial appointment, but don't worry! They say they will get back to you and they do! I have been working with Camille over the past couple weeks. My complaint was a severely arthritic ankle that has been painful for a couple of years. Thanks to Camille, I can report greatly reduced pain and increased functionality, the two holy grails of PT. I'd call it a miracle but I think it is really her skill and expertise. Thank you VCM for a great experience."

"After being referred to VCM for physical therapy for a painful shoulder, I received wonderful and effective help which solved my problem. In previous years I had been treated for similar joint issues at BIDMC in Boston and the MV Hospital, both of which were also fine. With easy parking a few feet from the front door at the triangle in Edgartown, VCM is just as good as those larger places. They were recommended and approved by my Blue Cross medicare plan. I recommend this place highly."

"VCM has been treating me for several months. When I first came in I was recovering from a broken hip and not doing very well. A previous therapist had given up on me and even suggested that my problem was more mental than physical. After coming to VCM for four months I am vastly improved. I can get along mostly without aid and while I'm not jogging yet, I feel quite secure walking fairly long distances without much, if any, support. I am indebted for this improvement to Camille who showed an enormous amount of patience with me. She was ably assisted by Scott whose sufferance is tremendously appreciated. In addition to the therapy, I'm also immensely grateful to Laura and Krista for the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the organization. For anyone is in the unfortunate position that I was in, I would not hesitate to whole heartily recommend Vineyard Complementary. "

"VCM is wonderful! All I of her staff are great! I was treated for hip problems and went in unable to stand up straight. By the end of the first session I was standing erect, pain almost gone. Within a couple more sessions I was better than before! I also saw Lauren post hand surgery- she is excellent! She worked with me to get insurance to cover the sessions and she was able to restore my function to 100% Highly recommend Vineyard Complementary Medicine! "

"If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My name is Fred and I have utilized services from Vineyard Complementary Medicine for over 10 years! I also am retired now from the hospital, which is interesting why I chose Complementary Medicine over our hospital. I chose Complementary Medicine because there are other services that are more appealing to me. I have had physical therapy. I have had occupational therapy acupuncture, zero balancing and lymph node drainage the services and the therapist are top-notch. That's not to discount the receptionist or Sue Sanford!"

Sterling used a hand held device to massage my entire body, spending extended use on areas where I experience chronic discomfort (neck/shoulders/low back). I felt energized and relaxed at the same time! I would highly recommend trying the introductory session! If I were't leaving soon for my winter in America, I would definitely be going back for more treatments. "

For years I had accepted the pain and discomfort from old injuries as something I just had to live. She assessed my situation, explained a treatment plan, and each week guided me toward an improved status. My pain dissipated and I feel confident as I gradually reduce the exercises she gave me, I will maintain my strength. Five stars! That experience was late 2022 and January 2023. Now, a year later, the pain has returned. I resurrected some of the exercises from a year ago, and find, thanks to Vineyard Complimentary Medicine, that I can treat myself. "I cannot rave enough about Vineyard Complementary Medicine. I have scoliosis and a ruptured disc which was treated with epidural shots, ablations and other traditional medicine and did allivate my pain at all. Susan (PT) and Amad (acupuncture) have all but alleviated my pain. When Susan said that she could help me get some height back I thought she was crazy, but she did! My back is straighter, friends notice that I stand taller and the pain which was intolerable is all but gone!"

"Vineyard Complementary Medicine is a lifesaver. My mom has been dealing with a frozen shoulder and extreme pain. After going to PT sessions at VCM for several months, the pain has decreased drastically and her range of motion has improved exponentially. I myself have been dealing with a lot of stress and tightness in my neck and shoulder. My mom brought me along to get a therapeutic massage and it was amazing! They really took the time to listen and worked out all the knots and kinks. It was very relaxing- I would highly recommend. All of the staff was extremely friendly and I felt very safe with their covid protocol. You wait outside until someone comes to get you, then they screen you for symptoms and check your temperature. After that, you go directly to the bathroom to wash your hands. And of course masks are required. Arrows on the floor indicate a one-way traffic pattern to help with social distancing. Other pluses- all of their intake materials are emailed to you via a secure, password protected portal and you can enter in all of your information ahead of time from the convenience of your home. Both cash and credit cards are accepted and payment was quick and easy. Whether your'e dealing with a severe injury or just need some stress-relief, VCM will take care of you!"

"I had broken 13 bones in my hand/wrist, shattered my pelvis, fractured 3 vertebrate, and fractured spinal column. Spent 10 days in MA General, came home in wheel chair and without a nurse or help. I was surprised to find a generous and exceedingly helpful and supportive staff at Vineyard Complementary Medicine- And Susan Sanford- to get me up/out, of a wheel chair, and back on my own within 3 months, not 8. Granted it was a lot of pain, but suffice to say, I was glad to get to the point that I didn't need the med's, gained strength, confidence, and only needed over counter/only as needed. I cannot stress, the importance of a positive, supportive, welcoming, and exceedingly gracious environment to gain skills, knowledge, experience, and forever information to maintain after an injury."
